The five-book foundation
One investigation, five books
The book order is a research chronology, not a ranking of artists. Auxiliary catalogues and control corpora can expand the archive without changing this sequence.

Volume One · Discovery Log
The Inside War Forensics: Rush
Twenty case files, debut through Clockwork Angels. The Traveler, the Unknown Hand as a finding to be tested, the instrumental chain, and the development of the IWL method itself.
Core manuscript complete
Volume Two · Laboratory Notebook
The Genesis Forensics — Genesis Universe
Genesis plus the solo catalogues, kept in chronology. The laboratory question is whether the pattern survives member separation, competing speakers, contradictions, and independent controls.
Core manuscript complete
Volume Three · Evidence Room
The Police Forensics
The catalogue moves from watching toward surveillance, possession, institutional systems, and accountability. Evidence and interpretation remain separately labeled.
Core manuscript complete
Volume Four · Witness Interviews
Journey
The human-response volume: recognition, choice, separation, recovery of voice, and the distinction between influence that gives and influence that keeps what it gives.
Web edition in progress
Volume Five · Final Synthesis
Final synthesis
The final volume remains part of the five-book architecture. Its public title and treatment stay withheld here until the current canonical edition is locked for publication.
Reserved in the core sequence
Expanded artist book library
The canonical five-book reading order remains unchanged. These additional artist investigations are a separate shelf of recovered IWL manuscripts, not unpublished proposals to start over.

Additional artist manuscripts under recovery
Alan Parsons, David Bowie, Led Zeppelin, The Who, Queen, Black Sabbath, Metallica, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Supertramp, Chevelle, Monster Magnet, Pierce the Veil and others appear in the expanded-witness research plan. They must be matched to source manuscripts before any edition is represented as complete.
Free distribution policy: every approved IWL edition will be free. Readers can request available books by artist; unreleased or unverified editions will not be presented as downloadable.
Auxiliary investigations remain outside the numbered series
The Deal, Alan Parsons, Pink Floyd, Tool, The Who, My Chemical Romance, Led Zeppelin and other research rooms are valuable because they can test, challenge or falsify parts of the IWL architecture. They remain separate from the five-book spine unless the book canon is deliberately revised.
