Information collected

The reader-list form collects the email address you submit, the page where you joined and limited campaign attribution. Moderated forum submissions collect the text you choose to send. Basic server and security logs may include technical information such as browser type, request time and network address.

How it is used

Email addresses are used only for Inside War publication and investigation updates. Community submissions are used for moderation and, only after approval, public discussion. Security data is used to prevent abuse and diagnose failures.

Sharing and sale

The Inside War does not sell reader-list addresses or community submissions. Information may be processed by infrastructure providers required to operate the site, including Cloudflare.

Retention and deletion

Reader-list records are retained until removal is requested or they are no longer operationally necessary. Pending or rejected community submissions may be retained for moderation and abuse prevention. To request access, correction or deletion, follow the instructions on the Contact page.

Cookies and analytics

The site may use essential security technology and privacy-oriented traffic measurement. It does not intentionally use advertising cookies on these pages.

Children

The site is intended for a general audience and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

This notice will be updated when email delivery, community accounts or additional data practices are activated.
