Jupiter's encounter with a larger civilization turns an ordinary life into an inheritance dispute. Her genetic identity has significance within that civilization's legal order. Earth and its inhabitants are situated within an economy whose rulers can regard human life as a resource.

The harvesting premise is a bodily extraction narrative: elite longevity depends on consuming lives. Do not rename that mechanism a literal soul transaction. The film's logic is already severe without adding an unverified spiritual process.

The proposed beings possess technology beyond the human surface world, but they also compete, inherit, bargain and use institutions. IW's Advanced Beings section gains a discriminator here: extraordinary capability does not imply a single faction, shared intention, moral authority or ultimate creator.

The surface population's ignorance makes the operator relationship asymmetrical. Yet the hidden economy is not simply a simulated environment. It is a hierarchy of ownership and access operating around a materially inhabited planet. This is the difference between controlling perception and claiming title over the perceived world.

Inheritance and proposed transfers of rights create the film's strongest Contract Ledger bridge. A legal order can recognize a transaction while the people treated as assets have no meaningful say in it. IW asks whose consent is legally visible and whose agency disappears from the document.

The buyer/seller metaphor becomes a beneficiary-and-cost test. Who receives more life? Who loses life? Who controls the terms? A rescuer or suitor's promise must be examined through its resulting transfer of power. Trust in the intermediary is not a substitute for reading the mechanism.

A genetic signature functions as a recognition and inheritance device within the story. It does not by itself prove a theological soul identity or settle the origin of existence. This gives IW a precise bridge to Raël, created-humanity hypotheses and Genesis comparisons without declaring the accounts identical.

A modern extension would require independently authenticated genetics, technology, decision makers and an extraction process. Ancient accounts of gods or a film's dynastic structure are comparison material, not that record. Keep the operator hypothesis open while asking what observation would distinguish it from human exploitation or an ordinary institutional mechanism.
